Job Description:
WE ARE HIRING!
SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER (PLANT PATHOLOGY)
Experience: 1-4 Years
Qualifications: M. Sc /Ph. D-Plant Pathology/Botany
Location: Hyderabad
Roles and responsibilities:
1.The role is responsible for implementing pathogen screening tests in the lab, greenhouse and field.
2.Coordinate with junior staff for implementing the SOPs.
3.Develop and implement disease resistance screening tests for Plant breeders and trait geneticist/biotechnologist.
4.Work closely with other plant pathologists, breeders and marker scientists to help provide direction in disease resistance development and documentation.
5.Laboratory, greenhouse and field skills in plant pathology with emphasis on applied disease resistance screening and protocol evaluation.
6.Working knowledge of molecular plant pathology.
