Purpose of the Role: To lead and overall, API Projects and Maintenance Activities of the plant. To lead and guide Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation sections.
Key Responsibilities (in brief):
- Preparation of revenue budget and capex budget for the department.
- To ensure the smooth operation of utilities and plant equipment.
- To focus on the equipment breakdowns, do analysis and take corrective and preventive action.
- Technical discussions with the suppliers/manufacturers/vendors/service engineers.
- To improve the technical capability of the dept personnel by conducting the training program.
- Ensure routine work and shift-related work are taken up smoothly.
- Ensure regular shutdown for utilities is taken to carry out the preventive activity.
- To raise the purchase requisition, get the authorization from the GM and follow up the material with the purchase
- Preparing ORM report and MIS (utility consumption) report.
- Ensuring qualification activities and preparing reports of the same.
- Perform QMS & EMS audits
- Coordination in energy auditing and energy conservation
- Aspect evaluation, setting up objectives and targets for environment management program and ensuring completion of the same.
- Cost control in maintenance spares, power consumption and maintenance activity.
- Work as per EMS and QMS policies.
Key technical Skills required:
Having sound knowledge of project management and maintenance management.
SWOT analysis of projects and maintenance
Key soft skills (behavioural) required:
Good Written and verbal communication.
Coaching and mentoring to team to derive maximum efficiency while working.
Effective decision-making.
